A Tale of Friendship and Illusions

Everything started back in my childhood when I first met her. I used to dream about walking on water, but back then, it was just a fantasy. As I grew older, people told me that no one could defy the rules of nature. Well… except for Jesus, of course. But for the rest of us, they said it was impossible.
Then I met a friend who made the impossible feel almost ordinary. That’s when my story truly began—the story of the girl who walks on water. People say it’s a miracle, and tales have spread far and wide about the magical girl gliding across the waves. I know it’s not really walking, but I have fun imagining how it must look from a distance! Sometimes, I even dance to make the moment even more dramatic for those who watch from afar.
There are moments when I fall, slipping beneath the water. But when I do, she dives under me, lifting me onto her back and pulling me back to the surface. And just like that, the play begins again. We glide and laugh as if the water itself were our playground.
The tales have traveled around the world. Some say I’m an illusion, others believe I’m a siren, or that I emerged from Atlantis. Some think I’m an ocean goddess or even an extraterrestrial being. There’s even talk that I might be some disciple of Jesus. So many stories, so many versions of who I might be.
But the truth? No one knows the truth, and I think they don’t really want to. They want to gossip and marvel. They want to believe in miracles, something out of this world. What they don’t realize is that it’s none of those things. The secret lies beneath the surface. It’s not magic—it’s friendship. Yes, indeed, a magical friendship, but a different kind of magic.
In the end, things are not always what they seem. If only people took a moment to look closer, they would see the truth beneath the surface. Reality shifts with perspective, and after all, it’s all relative, right?
